Super Natural’s sound/genre is New Jack Swing (late 80/early 90s) if you didn’t know. Alot of people resonated with the mv concept and the choreo especially , definitely their best and I think this is their best song tho especially with that ending (just my opinion🙌🏽)

As for the genre, it can be said to be the '90 old school pop of the new jack swing, but it is a very finely tailored song and also has an emotional ballad feeling.

I have a theory on supernatural..... as it has 2 parts it HAS to be a deep lore story right? But before i go on a long winded one.. in a nutshell.. Hyein doesnt exist as a physical form but a supernatural entity.. now lets go on lol ..... NewJeans Minji, Dani, Hanni, Haerin and the 'guy' are paranormal phenomena investigators... investigating the strange goings on in the city.. the odd weather.. the UFO.. the Zebra Unicorn.. they get out of a Van at the start that literally has 'supernatural' written as a logo on it and its laden with weird devices on top (like the ghostbusters ecto-1 vehicle). None of those Members Interact with Hyein aka the bunny throughout the whole video.. it seems only the guy can see her. In the scene where it appears Minji is stealing her man to me it actually looks more like Minji comes to get the guy in a sort of lets go motion but it seems she doesnt see or realise Hyein is there. Even when they are dancing Hyein aka the Bunny shows up and dissapears again continuously. The bunny reminds me of Frank the Rabbit (a supernatural being) from Donnie Darko.. in that film only Donnie could see frank the rabbit... much like it seems only the guy can see Hyein in this... the lyrics suggest it might be about a 'supernatural' relationship between the boy and hyein. The dancing scenes also flip from 80s looking to current modern times with them wearing current clothing holding smartphones 1:16. Donnie Darko was also about time travel. Theres a scene if you pause quickly where Hyein is sitting to left of the screen looking ghostly holding an alien toy 2:01 (its at the bit with haerin in the dallas cowboys shirt.. shes sitting next to her on the left). Its probable Hyein is the Alien from the Bunny shaped UFO and the bunny is her real form.. with Hyein being her human disguise that for some reason only the boy can see.... Also the shot of the city at the start the tower they are in looks like a normal tower ... but at the end the city scene shows the tower has changed to have bunny ears.. maybe Hyeins presence their gives them all powers? which would explain dani..... but thats all i got till we see part 2 :P

newjeans never dissapoints

'new jeans' is actually my all time favourite followed by 'cool with you' but bear in mind i've been a fan of uk garage since the lates 90s so im going to be biased towards those genre songs... 'right now' is actually more akin to 'jungle/drum and bass' but not full on as its more mellow but the superfast percussion in this is definitely closer to that genre as uk garage percussion beats noticeably slower. for example supershy is uk garage with drum and bass elements but the powerpuff theme percssion sample in that is slightly slowed down to fit the uk garage tempo.. they use the same sample in this but notice this time its actually sped up to match more of a jungle tempo. You are right in saying it reminds you new jeans though as the two genres do share a lot of similarites. Also shout out to the 'artful doger' mention thanks for listening to them :) BO-SELECTA! 😁

Nayeon has been my bias from the beginning. The rankings may change but she has always stayed number 1 for me. The album was really good too. I would love a Chaeyoung solo.

As a small fan of Twice too, I'm enjoying Nayeon pursuing early 2000's pop style songs when doing her solo works. If you, mostly Serg, listen to the rest of the songs in this album, I feel like he'll find a song in there he might prefer more than "ABCD". Also, I was surprised there was no reaction to THAT one part of her dance break. IYKYK. lol

I think you guys need to check Nayeon's Debut Album to witness that this Comeback album is a continuation of Nayeon's RnB journey. You'll get it once you listen to it. Would recommend Jihyo's Debut and album as well coz hearing the title track and the album itself would make you say, "That is Jihyo's TRUE Sound". Same thing with MISAMO's debut, title track and album as the 3 members each wrote their own song (Momo's song being the best track for me) 😍But this year, definitely Hot Girl Nayeon-ce era! You'll also notice that the Title cards on the M/V spell out ABCD -A Girl named Nayeon (at the start) -Big Little Universe (red dress) -Crossing the Cosmos (dance break) -Deeper into Na (end credit)
